: Someone who is employed to persuade legislators to vote for legislation that favors the lobbyist’s employer. Got paid by a business to win favor (to support that business/cause) from politicians which often involves fancy dinners and golf outings.

Synonym: supplicant, requester, activist, petitioner, asker.

: Showing or motivated by sympathy and understanding and generosity.

: A partially that prevents objective consideration of an issue or situation.

Synonym: preconceived notion, prejudice, unfairness, and predisposition.

: Rich and superior in quality
