DAY THIRTY-FOUR #34

FLORID
: Elaborately or excessively ornamented.
_That curtain is florid with beads that it hurts my eyes even to look at it.

PROSAIC
: Lacking wit or imagination, ordinary and dull.
_If I stayed home instead of joining this MADPP program while waiting for the SPM result, I’m sure that I’ll lead a prosaic everyday life doing the same thing again and again.

FORBBEARANCE
: A delay/bear for a moment/holdup in enforcing rights or claim or privileges; refraining from acting.
__The science teacher is asking for the class’s forbearance-to wait for a while for him to write on the board.

FORTITUDE
: Strength of mind that enables one to endure adversity with courage.
_It must have took a strong fortitude for a single mother of 8 kids like her to do all the work alone.

FORTUITOUS
: Occurring by happy chance.

_Maybe it is fate to see both of you to appear fortuitously having breakfast at the same place.
