 1.                    CALUMNY: an attempt to spoil someone else’s reputation by spreading lies.
The calumny made successfully end up the opponent’s prospect of winning the election.

2.            PLACATE: to ease the anger of, soothe.
                To placate dad, mom did the chicken dance.

3.            EFFICACIOUS: effective.
                The step to turn him down was the most efficacious decision made. We manage to save more life and make this world a better place.

4.            INGENUOUS: not devious; innocent and candid.
                His actions seems so ingenuous, I could not tell whether it was from his heart who is he just memorizing scripts.

5.            PLATITUDE: an uninspired remark, cliché.
                You could expect what would happened in the novel, it’s just platitudes-they’ll fall in love, had few conflicts, get married, and live happily ever after,
