DAY SEVENTY FOUR #74

1.            KNELL: the solemn sound of a bell, often indicating death.

                Upon hearing the funeral knell for the sixth time today, it made my spine shivers, scared of the number of death occurring one by one.

2.            DOGMATIC: aggressively and arrogantly certain about unproved principles.

The ideology of human originated from monkeys was just a dogmatic claims which confused people for decades.

3.            EQUIVOCAL: ambiguous, uncertain, or undecided.

                His idea was equivocal, so we did not know whether it would work out or not.

4.            FETTER: to chain, restrain.

                How could my bicycle go missing? As far as I remember, I fetter it to the post.

5.            PRECOCIOUS: advance, developing ahead of time.

                He got into an elite scholarship because his brain was academically precocious 5 years ahead of ours.
