1.            ESOTERIC: understand by only a select few.

              We could not understand his esoteric mathematics theories used for this question.

2.            GRATUITOUS: uncalled for, unwarranted.

               The tuition is gratuitous, they did not have to pay the fees and was supplied with good facilities.

3.            LURID: ghastly, sensational.

               It was too lurid knowing that he would illegally sell his little brother to some stranger just because he find it hard to raise him.

4.            ADORN: to decorate.

               This coming festive seasons, we decided to renovate our house and adorn it with new furniture.

5.            ONEROUS: burdensome.

               Being a free student sometimes make me think how happy it is to be freed from all those onerous responsibilities as a teacher’s secret reporter.
