ABDICATE

: Give up (power of monarchs & emperors or duties & obligations).

Synonym: Step down, relinquish, resign.

HYPOTHESIS
: A tentative insight into the natural world; a concept that is not yet verified but that if true would explain certain facts or phenomena.

Synonym: suggestion, premise, theory.

ABERRATION

: A state or condition markedly different from a noun.

Synonym: deviation, peculiarity, abnormality, eccentricity.

_It is an aberration to see an eclipse lasting for 7 hours.

IMPETUOUS
: Characterized by undue haste and lack of thought or deliberation.

Synonym: hasty, hotheaded, reckless, rash

_That impetuous lady killed the ambassador’s cat just because it scratched her.

TACTFUL
: Having a knack (capable, have a sense) of what is fitting or considerate in dealing with others; showing concern for the rights and feeling of others; being sensible and appropriate, never rude or careless.
