DAY FORTY THREE #43

1.            OBLIQUE: diverging from a straight line or course, not straightforward.
The oblique transcription of the artifacts made the archeologist confuse on what it actually means.

2.            EDICT: an order, decree
The princess edict every man to hunt and brought her a roster each.

3.            BUFFET: to strike with force
The tornado buffer the roof off the houses and threw cars away on air.

4.            MAUDLIN: weakly sentimental.
I find most Malay dramas maudlin and cliché.

5.            IMPUDENT: casually rude, insolent, and impertinent.
The impudent prince told everyone how lazy the king was at Ball last night.
