DAY FORTY NINE #49 MOVIE REVIEW

MOVIE REVIEW #4 KINGSMAN

Aaa.. When talking about Kingsman, what ‘pops’ on my mind first are fireworks. The great head-blowing-firework scene which left me astonished. Like..what? However, overall, Kingsman is a great movie IF you are okay with violence. I give the film a rate of 7/10. Even though I am not a fan of eye stabbing, head shooting and all, I believe it is a fun movie to watch with your family. It brings back those old episodes of James Bond British spy spirit but this time with an extra dose of comedy.

What I find clever about Kingsman is how the protagonist, Valentine set up his strategy to pursuit his goal. He believes that human are virus which cause destruction on Earth. Therefore, the solution he sees is to reduce the number of human being alive. How? He distributed free SIM cards to everyone. What people don’t know is that there a chip in the SIM card which when activated will send a signal, triggering aggression and repress inhibitors. People who receives the signal will go into a violent rage and start attacking others to kill them. So basically, Valentines does not have to get his hands literally dirty.

CHURCH-FIGHT-SIMCARD
A noble once spoke, ‘give education suitable according to the era’ (lol directly translation from Malay). What I can come up with is that if you are planning to draw intention or influence people, then use what they tend to bend for. Like today, people have gadgets. And to access through these gadgets, Valentine uses SIM cards. Same goes if you are a dictator, and you want people to follow you. You give them money because they need them. However, I know you guys are good people kan? So don’t take advantage and use your cerebrum to bring peace.
If you like action thriller and comedy, don’t miss to watch Kingsman. Take what is good, and leave the odds out.
