DAY FIFTY NINE #59

1.            PETULANCE: rudeness, irritability.
Despite how tiring it is to treat a child’s petulance, I somehow find it cute at times.

2.            CACOPHONY: tremendous noise, disharmonious sound.
Every time we enter the music room, everyone would rush and grab an instrument to play, creating a cacophony in the room.

3.            ABSCOND: to sneak away and hide.
Some broke into the house and we hear gun shots. We promptly abscond out and went to the police station.

4.            FORESTALL: to prevent, thwart, delay.
He froze the time and forestall the car crash accident.

5.            MAELSTROM: a destructive whirlpool which rapidly sucks in object.

The maelstrom in the middle of the sea swallowed the fisherman’s boat.
