DAY EIGHTY FIVE #85

1.            ENNUI: boredom, weariness.
Reading books just make me feel so ennui that I don’t ever need to take pill for my insomnia ever again.

2.            LEGERDEMAIN: deception, slight-of-hand.
The act of legerdemain made by the magician was one huge failure when the rabbit jumped out under the table cloth before the wand was waved.

3.            BANAL: dull, commonplace.
The performance by the theater company was banal and the ending was expected, putting people to boredom.

4.            INOCULATE: to introduce a microorganism, serum, or vaccine into an organism in order to increase immunity to illness; to vaccinate. He never been inoculate ever since he was a baby. No wonder he could not stay healthy for at least 3 days.

5.            FATUOUS: silly, foolish.
Now that he is away, I don’t have to put up with his fatuous jokes and pranks.
